Hi, I'm Rory, a photographer & 1st AC (Focus Puller) based in Cape Town, South Africa.

My passion for cameras and all things technical naturally led me into the camera department. After leaving a corporate IT career, I pursued my love for photography and filmmaking, discovering my passion for focus pulling along the way. The combination of technical precision, problem-solving, and creative storytelling made it the perfect fit.

I started out working on passion projects, social campaigns, and documentaries, building my skills alongside Cape Town's talented community of emerging Directors of Photography. Since then, I've worked on a wide range of commercials, as well as several feature films and television productions.

While I'm still early in my career, I'm confident behind the focus wheel and committed to continually refining my craft while building a long-term career as a focus puller.
